Description: Students will be introduced to 4 types of welding in the horizontal position. The practices of oxyacetylene cutting, arc welding, MIG and TIG welding will be covered by creating different types of joints for metal. Students will also learn how to use the grinders, shears, horizontal bandsaw and other machines used in the welding industry. This class is very lab based and students will need to dress appropriately for this class. Safety is our number one priority and students will follow all safety practices while in class.
